Culture, history and the future are the focus of Burg Gars - one of the oldest castles in Austria, whose politically influential history dates back to the 11th century. Concerts, theater productions, public-viewing or scientific symposia are also on the program of events at Burg Gars, as is the annual summer opera festival under the artistic direction of Maestro Johannes Wildner.
